Hi, I’m Emily—the trainer behind Sit Happens - NH K9 Training Co.
I’ve been working with dogs for the past 5 years, and what started as a job quickly turned into a true passion. After gaining experience in various doggy daycares, I was given the opportunity to step into dog behavior training—and I haven’t looked back since. I’ve been professionally training for over a year, supported by years of hands-on experience working with dogs and developing a strong understanding of behavior.
I have two dogs of my own, Nala and Jaxson, who have both played a huge role in my journey. Jaxson in particular came to me with severe fear-based stress, and through patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement dog training, he’s grown into the happy, goofy dog he is today. Because of him, I have a deep understanding and passion for helping shy, fearful, and reactive dogs.
I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs, including those with behavioral challenges and aggression, and I pride myself on being able to connect with every dog I meet. My K9 training approach is tailored to each client—I offer both positive reinforcement and balanced training methods, depending on what works best for you and your dog.
I provide in home dog training options to ensure that you and your dog can thrive in your own environment. I also offer Real world Lessons in public settings for better manners everywhere! My mission is simple: to help as many dogs and their owners as possible build strong relationships through clear communication, structure, and consistency here in Southern New Hampshire.
